The humble petition of Fanny Julia Christian of No. 5 Hope street in the borough 
of Douglas widow William John Corlett of Nelson Street in the said borough of Douglas
Ironmonger and Robert Henry Cubbon of Victoria Street in the said borough of Douglas draper

Sheweth as follows William Christian husband of your petitioner Fanny Julia Christian 
late of No 5 Hope street aforesaid retired Ironmonger died on or about the 8th day 
of February 1904 leaving a Will in writing dated the 23rd Day of November 1903 
whereof he  appointed your petitioners trustee Wherefore your petitioners humbly 
pray a hearing hereof and that your Honor may be pleased to grant to your petitioners

KNOW all men by these presents that we Fanny Julia Christian of No. 5 Hope street 
aforesaid widow William John Corlett of Nelson street in the said borough 
Ironmonger Robert Henry Cubbon of Victoria street in  the said borough draper
William Proctor of Derby Square in the said borough retired shoemaker and 
Alexander Robertson of the said borough -----? Clerk
are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our
Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of Four thousand two hundred and fifty Pounds
to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said Lord the King, his 
heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally, and any
two of us jointly, our Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents.

As witness our subscriptions the eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord 
one thousand nine hundred and Four

THE CONDITION of our is such that if the above named  Fanny Julia Christian 
William John Corlett and Robert Henry Cubbon (hereinafter called “the Executor/ors”)
who seek to obtain a grant of Probate of the last Will and Testament of William 
Christian late of No. 5 Hope Street aforesaid

but now deceased, who died on or about the 8th day of February 1904 at No. 5 Hope 
street aforesaid do when lawfully called upon in that behalf, make or cause to be 
made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and 
effects of the said deceased, which have or shall come to their hands, possession, 
or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for them and the same so made 
do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the proper Registry in that behalf 
whenever required by law so to do: And the same personal and effects of the said 
deceased, which shall at any time come into the hands or possession of the Executors, 
or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for 6. them or which 
without default might have come into the hands of or possession of the Executor-ors 
do well and truly administer according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts 
and liabilities of the said deceased so far as the said personal estate will extend 
and the law bind the Executor-ors then this obligation to be void and of no effect, 
or else to remain In full force and virtue.

WHEREAS WILLIAM CHRISTIAN late of Number Five Hope st
in the Borough of Douglas Isle of Man (hereinafter referred
to as “the Testator”) by his Will bearing date the twenty
third day of November One thousand nine hundred and three
after making specific bequest of his household furniture
to his wife for life gave devised and bequeathed In trust
the whole of the rest ands residue and remainder of his Real
and Personal estates of every description whatever and where
soever found or situate unto his wife Fanny Julia Christian
William James Corlett and Robert Henry Cubbon ALL AND SINGULAR
His Real and Personal Estate of every description whatsoever
And wheresoever situate or found of which he would at his
decease be possessed or entitled to whether legally or equit
ably or over which he would at his decease have a power of
appointment or deposit on to TO HOLD his Real and Personal
Estate and every part thereof unto his wife Fanny Julia
Christian William James Corlett and Robert Henry Cubbon
In Trust for the purposes in his Will declared and the
Testator did thereby direct that on the decease of his said
wife Fanny Julia Christian without having married again the
whole of his Real Estate and Personal Estates should be realized
and certain legacies be paid out of the proceeds of such
realisation including therein a Legacy of One hundred and
twenty five pounds to the said Robert Henry Cubbon (the same
Legacy being hereinafter referred to as the said Legacy”)
AND WHEREAS the Testator died on or about eighth day of
February One thousand nine hundred and four without having
altered or revoked the said Will and Probate thereof was
at a Court holden at Douglas on the Fourteenth day of March
One thousand nine hundred and four granted to his wife the
said Fanny Julia Christian William James Corlett and Robert

Henry Cubbon the Executors and Trustees therein named.
AND WHEREAS the said Robert Henry Cubbon departed this life
on the fifth day of October One thousand nine hundred and
four a Widower and intestate and Letters of Administration
of his Personal Estate and effects were at a Court holden
at Douglas on the thirty first day of October One thousand
nine hundred and four granted to William Bramwell Cubbon
of Ballamoar in the Parish of Jurby Farmer a brother of the
said Robert Henry Cubbon.
AND WHEREAS the said William Bramwell Cubbon as such Ad-
ministrator as aforesaid on the thirteenth day of August
One thousand nine hundred and ten put up for sale the said
Legacy payable as aforesaid to the said Robert Henry Cubbon
when after several bids had been made therefor the same was
knocked down to William Maltby Kerruish as the Purchaser
thereof at the price or sum of Thirty Two pounds Ten shillings
AND WHEREAS the said Fanny Julia Christian departed this
life on the thirtieth day of August One thousand nine hundred
and twenty one with out having remarried and having first
duly made and published her Last Will and Testament in writing
bearing date the third day of September One thousand nine
hundred and twenty Probate whereof was at a Court holden on
the third day of October One thousand nine hundred and twenty
one granted to Frances Phoebe Corlett the Executrix therein
named.
AND WHEREAS the said William Maltby Kerruish has called
Upon the said William Bramwell Cubbon Administrator of the
Said Robert Henry Cubbon for an assignment of the said Legacy
of One hundred and twenty five pounds and the interest
of the said Robert Henry Cubbon deceased therein which he
has agreed to give in consideration of the said sum of

Thirty two pounds ten shillings already paid by the said 
William Maltby Kerruish to the said William Bramwell Cubbon
Administrator as aforesaid
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the said 
William Bramwell Cubbon as such Administrator as aforesaid
in consideration of the sum of Thirty two pounds ten shillings
to him already paid by the said William Maltby Kerruish
(the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) doth hereby
give grant transfer and assign unto the said William Maltby
Kerruish ALL AND SINGULAR the said Legacy of One hundred and
Twenty five pounds bequeathed as aforesaid under the Will
of the Testator to the said Robert Henry Cubbon and all
moneys due in respect thereof TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same
unto the said William Maltby Kerruish his executors admin-
istrators and assigns absolutely and for ever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said William Bramwell Cubbon Admin
istrator as aforesaid hath hereuto subscribed his name the
Fifth day of December One thousand nine hundred and
twenty one.

Remainder of my Real and Personal Estate of any

Cubbon, Draper of the firm of Cottier & Cubbon Victoria Street
Douglas, all and singular my Real & Personal Estate of

found of which I am now or at my decease may be possessed?
of or entitled to whether legally or equitably -----? which

Should my dear wife have married again and at her decease

After paying the above named Legacies I direct that the
whole of my Residuary Estate be divided into equal
