		IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE
	
Common law division				testamentary jurisdiction

Will of John Thomas Edwards late of
Number “eight” Maughold St, Ramsey Chimney Sweep.

	Know all men by these present that we Catherine
	Edwards Widow, Lewis Corkill,
	Baker and Frederick William Bailey
	Insurance Agent all of the town
	Of Ramsey.
   Are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our
   Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of Twenty five Pounds
   To the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said
   Lord the King his heirs and successors we bind and oblige ourselves
   Jointly and severally and any two if us jointly, our Executors and 
   Administrators firmly by these presents.

	As Witness our subscriptions the Eighteenth day of	May
	in this year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred And eight.

	The condition of our obligation is such that if the
Above named Catherine Edwards
(Hereinafter called the Executrix) who seeks to obtain a grant of
Probate of the last Will and Testament of John Thomas
Edwards late of No. 8 Maughold St, Ramsey, Ramsey, Chimney Sweep
But now deceased who died at No 8 Maughold St 
On or about the 19th day of March 1908.
Do when lawfully called on in that behalf or cause to be made
A true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects
Of the said deceased which have or shall come into her hands
Possession, or knowledge or into the hands of any other person for her
And the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited into the proper
Registry in that behalf whenever required by law so to do and the same
Personal estate and effects of the said deceased, which shall at any time come
Into the hands or possession of the Executrix or into the hands of any
Other person or persons for her or which without default might have
Come into the hands or possession of the Executrix do well and truly
Administer according to law; that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of
The said deceased so far as the said personal estate will extend ad the law
Bind the Executrix then this obligation to be void and of no effect or
Else to remain in full force and virtue.

At Ramsey the 1st day 
Of June 1908					Catherine Edwards her X mark
 The executing parties to the foregoing Bond           Louis Corkill
Acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed         F W Bailey
		Before me.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me
John Thomas Edwards of Number 8 Maughold
Street in the town of Ramsey Chimney Sweep
Which I make publish and declare this 
Tenth day of December One Thousand
Nine hundred and seven.

   I give devise and bequeath unto
My wife Catherine Edwards the whole
Of my Real and Personal Estate.

   I revoke all former wills by me
At anytime heretofore made and declare this
Only to be my last Will and Testament.
   I nominate, constitute and appoint
My said wife executrix of this my will.

   In Witness whereof I have hereunto
Subscribed my name the day and date as
Aforesaid.

Signed published and declared by the
Testator as and for his last Will and
Testament in our presence who in his
Presence at his request and in the		     John Thomas Edwards X mark
Presence of each other all being present
At the same time have hereunto subscribed          H C  Sugden
