This is the last will and testament of me James Cannell of Rhencullen in
the parish of Michael bachelor.
I hereby revoke all prior wills and testamentary writings by me at
anytime heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and
testament.
I appoint my sister Jane Sophia Cannel of Rhencullen aforesaid spinster sole
executrix of this my will
I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate of whatsoever
nature and description and wheresoever situate to which I shall be
entitled at the time of decease to my said sister, Jane Sophia Cannell
absolutely.  In witness whereof I the said James Cannell have hereunto
subscribed my name this first day of January One thousand eight hundred and
ninety eight       James Cannell

This is the last will and testament of me James Cannell of Rhencullen in
the parish of Michael - Bachelor.  I hereby revoke all prior wills and
testamentary writings by me at anytime heretofore made and do declare this
only to be my last will and testament.  I appoint my sister Jane
Sophia Cannell of Rhencullen aforesaid spinster sole executrix to this
my will.   I give, devise, and bequeath all my real and personal estate of
whatsoever nature and description and wheresoever situate to which I
shall be entitled at the time of my decease to my said sister Jane Sophia
Cannell absolutely.  In witness whereof I the said James Cannell have
hereunto subscribed my name this first day of January one thousand
eight hundred and  ninety eight (1898).

Signed published and declared by the said testator as and for his last
will and testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time who
at his request in his presence and in presence of each other hereto
subscribe our names as attesting witnesses

At a Court holden at Douglas on the 30th day of July 1912.
The annexed paper writing dated this 1st day of January 1898 having
been proved to be the last will and testament of James Cannel late of
Rhencullen in the parish of Michael deceased who died on the 24th day of
September 1911 at Rhencullen aforesaid a bachelor.  Jane Sophia Cannell of
Rhencullen aforesaid spinster a sister of the testator the executrix therein
named is sworn well and truly to fulfill and execute this same
and to administer the personal estate of the said decease according to Law.
