This is the last Will and Testament of me
Alexander Redpath of Ballahowen in the
Parish of German retired farmer. I hereby
revoke all former wills and testamentary
writings at any time heretofore made by me
and declare this only to be my Will. I give
and bequeath to my daughter Eliza Redpath
the whole of my personal estate whatsoever and 
wheresoever situate at the time of my decease
absolutely – the said Eliza Redpath to pay thereout
all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses
I further give and bequeath to my said daughter 
Eliza Redpath for and during the full term of her
natural life an annuity of twenty pounds per
year to be charged upon the real estate hereinafter
devised to my son Richard Redpath – I give and
bequeath to my daughter Mary wife of William 
Hinds a legacy of one hundred pounds to be a charge
upon the said real estate hereinafter devised to my 
said son Richard Redpath such legacy to be paid 
in twenty instalments of five pounds per annum 
without any interest on the same or any balance 
thereof. I give and  bequeath to my grand daughter 
Katie Vick at present residing with me a legacy 
of one hundred pounds to be a charge upon the said 
real estate hereinafter devised to my said son 
Richard Redpath such legacy to be paid in twenty 
instalments of five pounds per annum without
any interest on the same or any balance thereof 
and I direct that in case my said daughter Mary

Hinds or my granddaughter Katie Vick shall die without
having received the said legacy or any balance 
thereof the same shall be paid as due to such 
children of the said Mary Hinds and Katie Vick ?as shall then be living in
equal shares – I give devise and bequeath the whole 
of my real estate whatsoever and wheresoever 
situate subject as aforesaid unto my said son 
Richard Redpath absolutely – I declare that the 
benefits hereby given to my daughter and grand
daughter shall be for their own sole and separate 
use free from the control debts and engagements of 
any husband either of them may have or marry 
and further I declare that such daughter’s and 
granddaughter’s receipt alone shall be a good 
discharge for payment thereof. I appoint my said 
daughter Eliza Redpath Executrix of this my last will.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my 
name this the sixth day of August one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen
