ManxWill 1653M #01 Michael deed of gift dated 21 February 1652/3, of Christian Cannell alias Quayle, widow, to son Charles Cannell:
Her will: ArW 1658A #027 Michael will of Christian Cannell alias Quayle, died about 1658 & buried in Kirk Michael Church: husband [Gilbert] Cannell is 
dead & buried in KK Michael Church (died between October 1653 & March 1653/4), son Sir Patrick Cannell, dau Catharine (married to [John] Caine), grandson 
John Cannell, son Philip [of Larby breck in Dromrewagh treen], son William, dau Ellin, grandsons John & Gilbert Cannell [?the sons of Philip], son Robert, 
son Charles, son John, grandson William Caine, also: Jane Curghey, Ellin Mylrea, Jane Cannell, servant Joney Cannell, also: Sir Hugh Cannell & son Mr John 
Cannell (deemster) for rent of Whitehouse [in Nerlough treen] & for a debt, witnesses: Henry Mylroy & Mally Quayle, & later witnesses: [son in law?] John 
Caine & Patrick Cannell & Joney Cannell, pledges: John Cannell & Hugh Cannell, also: Sir Hugh Cannel & son Mr John Cannell entered a claim for £5 sterling.

(5) ffebr 21 1652 Know all men by theise psents that I Chris--- Cannell als Quayle widowe of the pish of kk Michaell in the Isle of Mann, ffor many good & lawfull causes mee hereunto moving .and espetiallie for & in consideracon of the greate paines wch my sone Charles Cannell hath taken wth mee in my long languish= =inge sickness, doe hereby freely, & volunta--- give unto my said sone Charles Cannell his heyres executors administrators & assignes for ever two day math of hay, scittuate and lying in the pish of Ballalaugh of the yearely rent of neene pence, and alsoe I doe hereby freely give unto him my said sonne Charles Cannell one white fledge one white blankett one paire of flaxen sheetes one table now remaininge in John Cannon's house & two silver spoones And to witnes this to bee my owne voluntary & free deede of guift I have caused the same to bee written & have hereunto putt my signe Manuell the day & yeare above written: Christian Cannell als Quayle her marke X witnesses hereof Danold Cayne his mrke Tho: Mc ylrea his mrke 28h Ffebr 1652 This day these two sitnesses brought this writinge unto me to be recorded by direccon from the ptie who may it concernes, and offerred to take their oathes of the truethe of the pmisses that the same is the voluntary & free guift of the afforenamed Chrian: Cannell als Quayle (who is not able to travell to acknowledge the same before officers) unto her said sonne Charles Cannell, wch oath though I tooke not, as concerninge it not prop for me in pticular (wthout sufficient order) to take, yet if thought good (in case --- and Xpian or the said witnesses or any of them should dye before a further acknowledgment were made of the pmisses t oinscribe this memorandum for the more clearninge of the trueth hereafter as neede shall require Rich: Tyldesley Attornamt et Cler---- Rotuld: Irrotul et Exam Rich: Tyldesley deput cleric Rotuld
