Episcopal Will 1600E #042 Braddan will of Mr. John Calcott, died 11 March 1599/1600:

?Father: ArW 1631A #068 Braddan will of Mr Henry Calcott, gentleman who died about 15 May 1590 intestate, Decree made 18 November 1631, after the petition 
of Mr Robert senior and Henry Calcott, his sons: wife is not mentioned, children unmarried & alive in 1590: Richard (dead by 1631), Edward (dead by 1631), 
Robert senior (alive in 1631), Henry (alive in 1631) and Ann (died intestate before 1631).
   Son of father: Episcopal will books 1642-1644 Malew, will of Henry Calcott.
   Braddan parish register: Jo: Calcott son of Mr Henry Calcott  buried 25 April 1625.
   Braddan parish reg: Mrs Margaret Calcott als Quayle, de Nunery, buried 27 April 1674.
   Son of father: Episcopal will books 1647-1650 Malew, will of Robert Calcott.
      Grandson of father: Braddan parish register: Mr R. Calcott de Nunery, Gent. buried 5 February 1646/7. 
      Grandson of father: ArW 1647A #29 Braddan will of Mr. Robert Calcott of the Nunnery, also with lands and houses in England, died February 1646/7: 
      wife Margaret Calcott alias Quayle is alive [died 1674, Episcopal will], son & heir Robert (not yet 21 years old), son Richard, dau Margaret,  
      uncle Robert Calcott, uncle Henry Calcott, deceased father in law Thomas Quayle, wife's deceased uncle Robert Quayle, brother in law John Quayle, 
      godson Thomas Quayle, also: Sir John Cosnahan, John Taubman/Tunman, Parson Samuel Hinde, constable Robert Calcott, Henry/Harry Calcott the brother 
      of constable Robert. 
?Father & brother &c: 1617 Liber Vastarum, Onchan / Douglas cottages: Henry Calcott had cottages in Douglas of 24d yearly rent (total rent 4s 9d), and the 
late wife of the son of Henry Calcott remarried to William Lucas / Clucas who was left the cottage rents, & he sold half the rent to Anthony Boutch who 
was entered for it in 1617;  William Lucas entered into bonds & agreed to make good the sale, and Henry Calcott, the son of the deceased Henry Calcott, 
subscribed for better security of it.   
? Brother Robert senior &c: 1647 Liber Vastarum, Onchan / Douglas cottages: Robert Calcott senior had rent of cottages of 7 1/2d, and Robert Calcott 
junior had 3d rent, and Henry Calcott had 1 1/2d rent, but the place had been a waste place for many years, & it with other waste rents in the names 
of the said Calcotts in other parishes were taken off, so the said rent was ended and in the hands of the lord.
?Brother &c: 1703 Composition Book, Onchan quarterlands: Robert Calcott was compounded in 1643 for the quarterland of Ballakermeed, and in 1703, Mrs 
Margaret Christian [alias Calcott] of the Nunnery was entered for double rent, it being the remainder of the said quarterland.
   1701 Old Ballaugh Sales, #94: date 14 March 1701/2: Margaret Christian alias Calcott of the Nunnery, Braddan, sold for 22s to Gilbert Caine of KK 
   Michael, Crot-valley, rent of 1s 3d yearly, witnesses: William Cottier & Patrick Caine, Court June 1702.

The testament of Mr John Callcott wch depted the xjth of March anno 1599 ffirste he left and bequeathed to Edward Fflecher a yoke of oxen to discharge debts wch he ought to these psones viz: to John Cowley xxs, to Robert Oats xxs, to his sister Margaret vjs viijd. Itm I bequethed to Henry Calcott all his shepe wch was in custodie of Willim Corlett Itm he willed and ordained his sister in lawe Mrs Elisabeth Calcott to be his lawfull executrixe of all his goods movable and unmoveable.
