kk Bryde Aprill the 12th anno domini 1609 In the name of God amen, I Danold Kneale sicke in bodie but whole in mind and of perfect remembrance thankes be to God doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme folowing: ffirst I commit my soule unto the hands of allmighty God, my Creator & redeemer, and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Sant Bryde, Item I doe constituted and ordaine my sonne John Kneale executor, Item I bequeath to my sonne Donold Kneale what monie I have, Item I leave my portion of the Crafte and the horse to my sonne John: and the rest off my goods to be devided betwene the sayd John and Danold, Item I bequeath to my wieffe one of my housses and one sheepe and 1 lambe and if yt please God that my wiffe be wth childe: it is my will that the childe shall have a portion wth the othr children; the Crofte and the monie excepted, Item I bequeath to John Christine the clarke one mutton, Itm to ---- curate vjd, Itm to my brother Stephen Kneale 1 bullock, Supervisor: my brother Stephen Kneale wittnesses John Stevensonne minister Danold Christine clarke cum aliis pbatum est et solvit vj Inventorie before Trinitie next sub pena xs [10s]
