In the name of God Amen, I Richard Reade sick in bodye but whole in minde praised be God do make my last will and testament in manner and forme following: firste I bequeathe my soule into the hands of Allmightye God and my bodye to be buryed in the church yard of kk Christ Rushen, Itm I doe bequeath to my sonn Henry Reade 1 ox called braddan oxe and halfe my cropt of corn and he to be at the charges for to Reape it h--- the plowe wth the Irons and all the other gear and 1 old horse, Itm I leave 1 oxe and 1 yong m--- to pay Henry Gall that wch I owe him, I leave my sonn Roger 1 maire and 1 heffer and if he be not content to take that for his protion let him leave it and be exect wth the rest more halfe fir bar barley wch his mother must give him when the gro--- is sowen and all the remaine of my par to be l---- ----e to my sonn Willm sxxxxx 1 but of barly la---- -----ma the space of ij yeares to the poore 1 boule --- ------ --------te the vicar and the clarke 1 mu----- ------- ------- doe constitut and or------- -------- ------ -------- and Willm R--------
