Self: 1604 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: Gilnow Quartine was entered for a parcel of waste land of 12d in 1604.
Self: 1606 Liber Assed, Maughold: Gilnow Quartin was entered for a partcel of firma waste of 12d yearly rent; 
he was dead by 1639 when the next Liber Assed was taken.
Self &c: 1602 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: Daniel/Donold Callow junior had farmland in Corna beg treen (total rent 10s 11d), and he delivered the whole 
portion 'by the straw' due to his poverty, and 3s 7 3/4d rent was sett on Gilnoe Quartine/Corteen, and the rent on Daniel/Donold Cottingham.
Self &c: 1603 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: Gilnoe Quartine/Corteen had farmland of 3s 7 3/4d rent in Corna beg treen (total rent 10s 11d) and he delivered 
it 'by the straw' to Daniel/Donold Conilt who was entered for the 3s 7 3/4d rent, with Daniel/Donold Cottingham for the rest.
?Son & grandson: 1610 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: William Quartin was entered for particles of 11s rent, 
and he was now dead so that his son Richard Quartin/Corteen was entered for the 11s rent.
?Relative Ewan Quartin &c: 1580 Liber Assed, Maughold: Willia McAllow & John McAllow were entered for a quarterland of 19s 6d yearly rent in Corna Beg 
treen; NOTE, that John Callow was dead by 1601 and died without issue, so that his rent fell to his brother William Callow.
1601 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: William Callow delivered to his son in law farmland of 8s 6d yearly rent in Corna begg treen (total rent 19s 6d), 
so that William was entered for 11s rent & Ewan for 8s 6d rent in 1601.
1606 Liber Assed, Maughold: William Callow was entered for 1s & [Ewan] Quartine/Corteen was entered for 8s 6d rent of farmland in Corna Beg treen, 
total rent 19s 6d.
1639 Liber Assed, Maughold: Mallooney Callow was entered for farmland of 8s rent, John Quark for 2s rent, Mallooney Callow for another 12d rent, 
& Ewan Quartine for 8s 6d yearly rent in Corna Beg treen, total rent 19s 6d.
?: 1601 Liber Vastarum, Maughold: entry 30, Intack: John Callow & John Kewn were entered for a parcel of intack of 17d yearly rent, and by 1601, John 
Callow was dead and had died without any children, and in 1601, John's brothe William Callow consented to Ewan Quartin/Corteen being entered for 8d rent, 
with William entered for 8d rent, and John Quark was entered for the other 1d rent by virtue of recovery in the common law had against Gilnow Causten? 
(?Gilno Corteen).
NOTE, the surname 'Corteen' morphed from 'Quartine'. The executor of Gilnoe is his son William, whose surname is spelled both 'Corchyne' and 'Quartine'.
