Archdeacon Will 1661A #105 Michael will of John Caine of Ballagawne, dated 5 October 1663 [died 26 August 1663]:
Summary: wife is alive, dau Margaret (has children, married to William Quayle, she died 1664/5, ArW 1665A #042 Michael); son & executor Patrick, son & heir 
William (has children), grandson John Caine, grandson William Caine & granddau Katherin Caine; sister Catharine Caine, also: Robert Cannell owed him £5 
with £3 to be paid on St John Baptist day in 1663 & Deemster Hugh was to pay 10s, & James Cannell to pay 5 grotes, etc); also, he was owed for 3 years 
of the clerk glebe from Henry Woods, witnesses: John Quayle & William Quayle & Thomas Caine, also: Gilbert Quine, pledges: William Quark & John Croghan, 
also: son in law William Quayle entered a claim for what was due on his contract bargain.
?Wife: Michael parish register: Kat Caine als Cannel of Ballagoan [Ballagawne] buried 7 December 1688 [Ballagawne is in Baryk More treen].
?Wife: Episcopal will books 1669-1671 German will of Joney Caine alias Cannell.

William Cannell.

Cannell is dead & buried in KK Michael Church (died between October 1653 & March 1653/4), son Sir Patrick Cannell, dau Catharine (married to [John] Caine), 
son Philip, son William, dau Ellin, son Robert, son Charles, son John, grandson John Cannell, grandsons John & Gilbert Cannell, grandson William Caine, 
also: Jane Curghey, Ellin Mylrea, Jane Cannell, servant Joney Cannell, also: Sir Hugh Cannell & son Mr John Cannell for rent of Whitehouse [in Nerlough 
treen] & for a debt, witnesses:Henry Mylroy & Mally Quayle, & later witnesses: [son in law?] John Caine & Patrick Cannell & Joney Cannell, pledges: John 
Cannell & Hugh Cannell, also: Sir Hugh Cannel & son Mr John Cannell entered a claim for £5 sterling. 

------ 5th Octobr: 1663 Michaell 36 The last will and teastement of John Cayne who submiteth his soule to God, and his body to Christian burial, and to the poore a distribution to b--- ---oth of 1 firl: mault & the rest at the discretion of ye ex: Itm: to his daughter Margret a meire and five shilllinges that was in her hands; and to the sayd Margetts children a sheep and a lamb as legasie; Itm: to my sonn Patricke I leave my pte of the houses and gardens to the end and expiration of twilve yeares, and at the end of the twilfe yeares ---at afterwards to his son William forever.
