Will of sister: ArW 1641A #17 Michael will of Ellin Cowley als Kaighin, died 22 February 1640/1: husband Patrick Cowley is alive, no children are mentioned, 
father Robert Kaighin, sister Jane Kaighin, also: sister? Joney Kaighin, Christian Mylrea, witnesses: Henry Woods & John Killey, pledges: Phinlo Cannell & 
John Cowley.    
Sister: Michael parish register: Elin Kaighin buried 23 Feb 1640/1.
Self & husband & father: 1656 Liber Vastarum, German: Robert Kaighin had a parcel of intack of 10 1/2d yearly rent, and 4d of the rent fell to Jane in the 
right of her mother, and so she was entered for it with her husband William Craine.
Self & husband & etc: 1666 Liber Vastarum, German:  The following jointly had rented intack land of 5s full rent: Thomas Kaighin & John Kaighin for 5 1/4d, 
John Kaighin junior & John Gell & Gilbert Kaighin for 10 1/2d rent, Robert Kaighin for 6 1/2d rent, James Kaighin & William Cross for 4d rent, Phinlo 
Shimmin for 6d rent, Randle Caine for 6d rent, & Patrick Fayle; and in 1666, the following were jointly entered for it: John Kaighin for 15 3/4d rent, John 
Kaighin for 5 1/4d rent, Gilbert Kaighin for 10 1/2d rent, Robert Kaighin for 6 1/2d rent, Jane Kaighin & William Craine for 4d rent, Hugh Shimmin for 12d 
rent, and Randle Caine for 6d rent.
Self & husband & ?uncle & ?cousin: 1673 Liber Vastarum, German: Jane Kaighin & husband William Craine had a parcel of intack land belonging to Kneeb treen, 
and in 1673, Hugh Shimmin senior & Hugh Shimmin junior held it and so were entered for it, Hugh senior for 1d, and Hugh junior for 3d.

I Jaine Kaighan thought sicke in Body yett whole in minde and of perfect memorie thanks be to God for it doe make my last will and testament as ffolloweth: Imprimis I bequeath my sould to God and mybody to Christian buriall. Item to the poore a ferlett of mault and halfe a ferlett of oat meale and a peacke of wheat and a mutton. Item I leave in leagacie to my father in law all what reconinge was betwixt him and I, my halfe cleare without any further clame Item I leave a blankett to my mother in law for a legacie that she may look to the child Item I leave a new wascott and a blue peticott to Issabell Crayne my sister in law in Legacie Item to my Brother in law Gilbert Crayne a ewe lambe in Legacie. Item I leave what right and title I had to a meddowe in the Mon= noe More to my brother Thomas Kaighan that noe executor have further claime in itt Item I leave all that was due to me by handfasting bargain from my ffather in lawe to my husband for Legacie that nether my child or any other executor have further clame to it.
