Archdeacon Will 1663A #118 Patrick will of Thomas Quine, died 10 March 1663/4, has land at Ballawoole/?Ballavolley and Ballakenny/?Ballakinnagh:
Summary: wife is alive, dau Ellin Quine; eldest son Richard, dau John of age, dau Alice of age, dau Ann (underage); brother Thomas junior (& his son 
William & his dau Ann); also: Ellin Quirk, Thomas Halsall's son; oats in ballawook[?, or Ballawoole] & grain in Ballakinny; witnesses: William Quine & 
Thomas Quine, pledges: William Quirk & Thomas Quine.
NOTE: it was not uncommon on the Isle of Man before the 1700s to have 2 children alive with the same name; thus, 
the testator Thomas had a brother also named Thomas.
