Archdeacon Will 1663A #147 Santan will of John Martin of Knockfrey in Knockloghan treen, died 2 March 1663/4:

Will of brother: ArW 1655A #39 Andreas will of William Martin, died about 1643, intestate: not married, not married, nephew Edward Quark, niece Christian 
Martin, also: Patrick Kneale said that William was still alive & he had custody of £1 of William's inventory, Is Patrick a relative in law?, John Martin 
is father of Christian Martin & his pledge is Columb Radcliffe, John Quark father of Edward Quark & his pledge is William Teare, pledge for Patrick Kneale 
is Michael Cowle.

mentioned are Edward Quark, Phinlo Martin, William Martin, Sr John Huddlestone.
?Self: 1639 Liber Assed:, Santan: John Martin (who was dead by the next Liber Assed: record) was entered in 1639 for farmland of 4s 7d rent in Knockloghan 
treen [total rent 18s 4d].
?Self: 1639 Liber Assed:, Santan: John Martin junior had various parcels of intack land of 12d rent, & 4d rent & 1 1/2d rent & 1/2d rent & 2d rent & 1d 
rent; all of these intacks were held jointly with Thomas Brew & Robert Brew (Robert was dead by next record) who paid their separate amounts equal to John 
Martin junior's amount.
Self & son: 1686 Liber Assed:, Santan: John Martin had farmland rent of 4s 5d in Knockloghan treed (total rent 18s 4d), and also 8d rent, & John Martin 
senior? for 2 1/2d rent, and Thomas Martin for 7 1/4d rent. (Several Brew family members had adjacent farmland in Knockloghan treen).
Son: 1686 Liber Assed:, Santan: Thomas Martin & John Oates had a parcel of intack land of 1/2d yearly rent.
Self: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Santan: John Martin junior had farmland [Knockfroy] of 4s 6d rent in Knockloghan treen [total rent 18s 4d], and he sold land of 
4 1/2d rent to Henry Kinish, with Henry paying for some of it by labor, with the understanding that if Henry wanted to sell it, John Martin would have first 
proffer & first refusal.
   1679 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Henry Kinnish had farmland of 4 1/2d yearly rent in Knockloghan treen [total rent 18s 4d], and he sold it to Thomas Martin 
   & his wife who then sold the same to Mary Fargher, who was entered for the 4 1/2d rent in 1679.
Son: 1677 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Thomas Crellin had farmland in Knockloghan treen [total rent 18s 4d], and he was dead, and his daughter Jane Crellin sold 
the same land to Thomas Martin, who was entered for it in 1677.
Son: 1677 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Thomas Crellin had farmland of 3s 7 1/2d yearly rent in Knockloghan treen [total rent 18s 4d], 
and he was dead, and his daughter Jane Crellin sold the same land to Thomas Martin, who was entered for it in 1677.
Son: 1682 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Christopher Brew & Thomas Martin jointly had a parcel of intack land of 1/2d yearly rent, & Christopher Brew was dead so 
that his part of the rent fell to his daughter Jane Brew who, with her husband Christopher Bridson, sold their part of the 1/2d rent to John Oates, so that 
John Oates & Thomas Martin were entered for the 1/2d rent in 1682.
   1682 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Christopher Brew had farmland of 21 3/4d yearly rent in Knockloghan treen, & Christopher Brew was dead so that his right of 
   the rent fell to his daughter Jane Brew who, with her husband Christopher Bridson, sold it to John Oates in 1682.
Son: 1683 Liber Vastarum, Santan: Thomas Brew & Thomas Martin jointly had farmland of 7 1/4d rent in Knockloghan treen, and Thomas Martin paid the whole 
7 1/4d rent and so was entered solely for the same.
Son: 1689 Liber Vastarum, Santan: John Oates had farmland of 21 1/2d yearly & Thomas Martin had 7 1/4d rent & Thomas Brew had 6s 1d rent in Knockloghan 
treen, and the quest in 1689 vouched that there was a mistake in propotioning the rents and so it was corrected to the following: John Oates for 12d plus 
3 parts of 2d rent, and Mary Fargher for 4 1/2d rent, and Thomas Martin for 12 1/2d plus 3 parts of 2d rent and John Brew (after his father Thomas Brew 
surrendered his part to his son John) for 6s plus 2 parts of 2d rent.
?Sister & father & grandfather: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: John Martin had intacks belonging to Grest treen of 6s yearly rent, and he was dead & his son 
Gilbert inherited but he was also dead now, and Gilbert's daughter & heir Christian Martin with her husband John Quark were entered for the rent.
See: Gilbert Martin died about 1647, of Andreas Parish, and made a will, Sir Edward Crowe & Wm Cotter of Andreas were original pledges, Patrick Cowle & 
John Quark became pledges in March 1650/51 note, will was not present among the Archdeacon Wills.
