Archdeacon Will 1663A #152 Jurby will of Daniel Christian of Ballamoar, Jurby, & Karlane/Karlatte miln, died 23 December 1663, intestate: 
Summary: 1st wife [Jane Clark died December 1628, Episcopal Will], 2nd wife [Ann Kewn] is alive [married 1629 Jurby, she died 1668, Episcopal Will], only 
son (by 2nd wife) Patrick Christian of age [at least 21 in 1657 when he was supervisor to his nephew], Sir Robert Parr took care of grandson & heir Thomas 
Christian for 4 years, pledges: Will Caine & Will McYlrea, Note, that Inventory is worth £70, also: Catharine Cannell alias Caine & John Cannell & Robert 
Cannell entered a claim for £10.  NOTE, son & heir by 1st wife is Thomas who died 1657 with one son, other children are dau Ann (married in 1645 to 
William Mylrea) & dau Joney (supervisor of child, so at least 21 in 1657) & dau Margaret (dead by 1657).

sworne by the Sumner to value the yearely benefit and profits of of the farme tenement and all other Intackes or cottages belonging to the farme of DONOLD 
CHRISTIAN accordinge as a custom xxxx, and to certifie unto us what ye yearely valuacion of ye sayd lands & estate comes to, against this day fortnight 
that ye childs maintenance may be allowed thereout, & ye oade[?] plus added to the Inventorie  And withal to charge PATRICK CHRISTIAN to his MOTHER to pay 
all dues that belonges to ye CHILD OF THO: CHRISTIAN unto Mr ROBT PARRE accordinge to the order of Chancery within sayd committed tyme And that also the

sworne Jurors to find out ye full valuacion or profit of ye farme Intacks cottages & tenements of ye estate of DONELL CHRISTIAN of Jurby may be yearely 
worth, for ye mantenance of ye HEIRE thereof, & enlarginge of ye Invent if may any may be: we therefore say, yt after all rents & dues beinge paide, yt wee 
finde ye valuacion or profits of ye said farme, tenements & all other Intacks or cottages belongeing to the said farm amounts to yeerely 4 pounds sterling & 
ys by virtue of our oaths as witness our signes manuel ye day & yeere above written. As for ye xxxx house & ye use of ye moneys we meddle not with it:

IOM FHS Jurby Old & New Yards [stone 219] Here lieth the body of Daniel Christian of Ballamore who died Decemb: 24, 1663. Thos son and heir to Daniel buryd 
in the West Napins burying place with his mother aged 31. Capt Thos Christian grandson to Daniel and the only child of Thos buryd March ye 26th 1725, aged 
69. Catherine the wife of Capt Thos Christian buryd the 23 of April 1729. Wm Christian of Ballamore Esq Vicr Genr of this Isle departed the --- the ---[28] 
of Janr 175-[1753] aged 68 And lyes here inter'd with Ann his wife who died the --[14] of August 17-6[1746] aged 66. Underneath are deposited the remains of 
Captn Thomas Christian of Ballamoare who died Janry 16th 1766 aged 66 years. And of Mrs Margaret Christian his wife who died August 8th 1785 aged 78 years. 
Also of Thomas, Margaret, Alice& Mary their children. Here lie the remains of William Christian of Ballamoar, Esqr only son & heir of Thomas  & Margaret 
Christian: who departed this life the 12th day of April 1798 aged 53 years. Also the remains of Robert, Catherine, Richard and Margaret Farrant children of 
Robert Farrant of Ballamoar, Esqr and Margaret his wife, who died under age. And also --- remains of Margaret Farrant --- Moore, wife of the said-ob--t 
Farrant: who departed this life upon the 8th day of May 1810 aged 47 years. Here also are interred the remains of -----named Robert Farrant of Ballamoar Esq, 
-parted this life the 6th of Febry 182-[1820] etatis 67. ---- affectionate as a husband indulgent as a parent, ---- as a landlord, and respectable as a man, 
his ingenuity and benevolence have endeared his memory to his friends and acquaintances and his many reliable qualities have rendered him a loss to society. 
Here also lie the remains of Ann, youngest daughter Robt & Margt Farrant who died the 16th day of November 1827, aged 24 years. To the beloved memory of 
William Farrant, of Ballamoar, born September 1826, died June 8th 1891. 'Requiescat in pace.' Also Lucy Farrant, widow of the above, who died 10th May 1913. 
In memory of Robert Kincaid Farrant Lieut. R.H.A. died 14th Sept 1923 aged 56 years. In memory of the following owners of Ballamoar buried here McBREWE: 
Donald: M.H.K. A.D.1417. Patrick 1484. Patrick Junior 1515. Richard 1539. John 1560. Thomas 1575. Jony married Philip Saile and died without issue 1593.

Kincaid J.P. of Kilcaddin, Co. Donegal 1912. Robert Kincaid, Lieut Royal Horse Artillery died in South Africa 1923. William Reginald, drowned at sea 1934.

Charles Kaighin: Bequeath'd his part of the Wind Miln to his Execrs: until such time as his son and heir pays them £18 sterl: which he declard was 
borrowed towards the building of the Wind Miln. Daughter Catherine Burns. Wife, son Patrick, and youngest daughter Anne Executor. Son in law Robert Brew 
Witnesses: Patrick Mclvorey, Patrick Brew. Pledges Pat Brew & Cha: Kaighin. Charles Kaighin enters a claim for 34s. Daniel Tear enters a claim for £5 & 
plus 2 years interest. Mr Richard Duterol on behalf of John Harrison of Ireland enters a claim for 5 guineas plus interest.

Christian. HOWEVER, per will of Daniel's mother Christian Brew, his father is Patrick Christian (who died 1632, married Christian Brew 1608, so Patrick
