Archdeacon Will 1663A #051 Andreas will of Christian Quark alias Martin heiress, of Ballalig/Ballig [Balyhestyn treen] & Rygby treen & the Ayre in Lezayre, 
dated 15 April 1664:
Summary: husband John Quark is alive, mother is alive (left petticoat & linen & woolen clothes), father in law is alive, also: Edmund Quark (left 5s), 
Phinlo Martin (left a heifer), William Martin (left a calf), witnesses: William Martin & Sr John Huddlestone, witnesses to codicil: Edmund Quark & Phinlo 
Martin, pledges: husband John Quark & Phinlo Quark.
Self & father & grandfather: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Andreas parish: John Martin had land of 18s 2d yearly rent in Rygby treen, and when he died, his son 
Gilbert inherited it, & when Gilbert died, Gilbert's dau Christian inherited it with her husband John Quark, who were entered for the rent in 1660.
Self & father & grandfather: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Andreas parish: John Martin had intack lands belonging to Smeall beg treen of 10d rent and of 12d rent, 
and when he died, his son Gilbert inherited it, & when Gilbert died, Gilbert's dau Christian inherited it with her husband John Quark, who were entered 
for the parcels in 1660.
?Grandfather & greatgrandfather: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Andreas parish: Thomas Martin had rent of 8s in the firm brac, and in 1635, 
John Martin (?his son) was entered for it.
Self & father & grandfather: 1660 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: John Martin had intacks belonging to Grest treen of 6s yearly rent, and he was dead & his son 
Gilbert inherited but he was also dead now, and Gilbert's daughter & heir Christian Martin with her husband John Quark were entered for the rent.
Father: Gilbert Martin died about 1647, of Andreas Parish, and made a will, Sir Edward Crowe & Wm Cotter of Andreas were original pledges, Patrick Cowle & 
John Quark became pledges in March 1650/51 note, will was not present among the Archdeacon Wills.
Will of brother: ArW 1655A #39 Andreas will of William Martin, died about 1643, intestate: not married, nephew Edward Quark, niece Christian Martin, also: 
Patrick Kneale said that William was still alive & he had custody of £1 of William's inventory, Is Patrick a relative in law?, John Martin is father 
of Christian Martin & his pledge is Columb Radcliffe, John Quark father of Edward Quark & his pledge is William Teare, pledge for Patrick Kneale is Michael 
Cowle.
Will of brother: ArW 1663A #147 Santan will of John Martin, died 2 March 1663/4: wife Christian Kelly, son John Martin (underage), son Thomas, dau Ellin 
(at years), dau Christian (under age) Martin; Thomas Costen, Hugh Cosnahan, witnesses: Hugh Cosnahan & Christopher Kneale (see also Gilchrist/Gibbon, 
which are older names for Christopher); pledges: Hugh Cosnahan & Robert Hampton.
?Will of grandfather: ArW 1644A #49 Andreas will of John Martin, dated 30 December 1643: wife is not mentioned, son & heir Gilbert Martin, son William, 
also: John Quark, John Martin, William Martin, Patrick Kneale (left 20s, Is he a son in law?), witnesses: John Quark & John Martin & William Martin, pledge 
William Martin.
