Archdeacon Will 1665A #036 Ballaugh will of Philip Stephen / Steane, died 13 February 1664/5 intestate:  
Summary: wife alive (alive still in 1685); son Philip & son John (dead by Oct 1685 [his will ArW 1668A #54 Ballaugh]); sisters Ellin Stephen/Stean [married 
to Gibbon Craine] & sister Isabel Stephen/Stean are supervisors. by 24 Oct 1685: only son Philip was alive & was of age, pledges: [brother in law] Gibbon/

1639 Liber Assed, Ballaugh: Phinlo Stephen was entered for a quarterland of 16s 4d yearly rent in Scrondall treen.
   Sister & her husband & ?brother: 1686 Liber Assed, Ballaugh: Phinlo Stephen for 8s 2d, and Ellin Stephen & [husband] Gibbon Craine were entered for a 
   quarterland of 16s 4d yearly rent in Scrondall treen.
?Sister Isabel & ?her husband & ?Thomas: 1684 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh: Henry Woods was entered for a parcel of intack land of 18d rent belonging to 
Ballavolley treen (total 18d rent) and he sold it to Thomas Stephen & Patrick Craine & Isabel Stephen who were entered for it in 1684.
?Sister Isabel & ?her husband & ?Thomas: 1684 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh: Henry Woods was entered for a parcel of intack land of 15d rent belonging to 
Ballavolley treen (total 18d rent) and he sold it to Thomas Stephen & Patrick Craine & [?wife] Isabel Stephen who were entered for it in 1684.
