Archdeacon Will 1665A #050 Malew will of Isabel Cottiam / Cottingham / Cottiman alias Cry, made 22 January 1665/6:  
Summary: husband xxxx Cottiam/Cottingham/Cottiman is alive, son Philip Cottiam, also: William Preston junior owed 26s, witnesses & pledges: 
Edward Callow & John Cottier.
Malew parish register: Issable Cottiam als Cry bur 23 Jan 1665/66.
?Husband:  Malew parish register: John Cottiam buried 16 June 1668, Episcopal Will.
?Son: Malew parish register: Philip Cottiman buried 25 November 1712.
?Dau in law: Malew parish register: Anne Cottiman als Boddagh buried 16 May 1707 Episcopal Wills book 1707-2 Malew.
?Son:  Philip Cottiman witness ('Philip Cottiman', NOTE, that Cottiman & Cottiam & Cottingham were used interchangeably) to the will & pledge for the 
inventoried goods of William Harrison of Ballasalley will 1697A #13 Malew.
   ?Mother in law of son: ArW 1653A #25 Ballaugh will of Margaret Boddaugh alias Killip, died 6 December 1653: husband [William] Boddaugh is mentioned, 
   eldest son (of age) Thomas Boddaugh [eventually married Mary Cowle], dau Joney (married Daniel Corlett) & dau Ann (married Philip Cottiam/Cottiman), 
   son Daniel/Donold, son William, son Robert; brother & supervisor William Killip; pledge John Teare, by 1670, son in law Daniel Corlett & son in law 
   Philip Cottiman receive legacies left to the daughters of Margaret Boddaugh alias Killip. NOTE: name of son Thomas was recorded 'Thomas Bodagh' 
   [Boddaugh] when will was probated but surname was recorded as 'Voddy' in October 1670 note.
?Son: Philip Cottiman son in law ('Philip Cottiman', married Ann Boddaugh, NOTE, that Cottiman & Cottiam & Cottingham were used interchangeably) & received 
in 1670 Ann's legacy of 20s, along with Daniel Corlett who was the husband of Joney Boddaugh who was the daughter of Margaret Boddaugh als Killip will 
1653A #25 Ballaugh.
?Son & dau in law, etc: 1668 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh: Deed of sale dated 26 Oct 1668: Thomas Boddagh(Ballaugh) (with consent wife Mary als Cowle) sells 
for 40s to sister Ann Boddaugh & her husband Phillip Cottiam, half parcel of land called Crotte Kermod rent 4 1/2d - recites that mother left the sd land 
bought in her lifetime to him for which he was to give 40s to his sisters Ann & Jony - Ann & Phillip are to pay 20s to sister Jony. Witt Nicho Thompson, 
Tho Norris; Court Apr 1669; 26 May 1676: Phill Cottiam passes land to bro-i-law Dan Curleod for 20s as is for his dau Ann [some text lost in binding] ...
?Son & dau in law & her father, etc: 1669 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh:  Margaret Corlett & Isabel Boddaugh had a parcel of intack of 6d yearly rent, who sold 
it to William Boddaugh who compounded for it in 1643, & his wife in her Will left her part of the land to their son Thomas Boddaugh, he paying his sisters 
(one is Ann) 20s each. Thomas Boddaugh sold his half of the the parcel (3d rent) to Philip Cottiam who had married Ann Boddaugh, daughter of William 
Boddaugh & xxxx, so that Philip Cottiam was entered in 1669 with his father in law William Boddaugh for the 6d rent.
?Son & dau in law & her father, etc: 1669 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh: Margaret Corlett had a parcel of intack of 3d yearly rent, who sold it to William 
Boddaugh who compounded for it in 1643, & his wife in her Will left her part of the land to their son Thomas Boddaugh, he paying his sisters (one is Ann) 
20s each. Thomas Boddaugh sold his half of the the parcel (1 1/2d rent) to Philip Cottiam who had married Ann Boddaugh, daughter of William Boddaugh & xxxx, 
so that Philip Cottiam was entered in 1669 with his father in law William Boddaugh for the 6d rent.

sold for 40s intack land to sister Ann Boddaugh & her husband Phillip Cottiam, half parcel of land called Crotte Kermod rent 4 1/2d, The mother [Margaret 
Kilip, died 1653, ArW 1653A #25] & father [William Boddaugh] of Thomas & Ann had bought the said land in her lifetime & Thomas (who was left his mother's 
half of the land) was to give 40s to his sisters Ann & Joney [married to Daniel Corlett], and now Ann & husband Phillip Cottiam were to pay 20s to sister

Boddaugh, sister of Thomas Boddaugh] for 20s as is for his dau Ann Corlett [some text lost in binding] ...

?Son etc: 1676 Liber Vastarum, Ballaugh: Philip Cottiam had a parcel of intack land belonging to Ballacaine treen of 1 1/2d yearly rent, 
which he surrendered to Ann Corlett (dau of Daniel Corlett, brother in law of Philip Cottiam), & Ann was entered for it in 1676.
