Archdeacon Will 1666A #16 Malew will of Humphrey Prescott, pauper & had no goods, made 25 September 1666:

Son in law: ArW 1665/6 March presentment Malew: Edward Wane presented 1665 Malew (date 18 March 1665/6), a soldier, for striking Daniel Key on the Sabbath.
1666 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Humphrey Prescott had cottages of 8d yearly rent & of 12d yearly rent, and in 1666 he was willing that the name of Edward Walne 
[his son in law] should be entered for the rents, which was granted.

   1681 Liber Vastarum, Malew: John Boardman had cottages of 9d rent and he was long since dead and the right of the rent descented to John Moore by 
   marriage, who had given the same to Cudd Prescott senior in contraction bargain which he acknowledged in Court, and the said Cudd senior desired his 
   son's name, Cudd Prescott junior, be entered for the 9d rent, when was done.  NOTE, Ursula (dau of John Boardman) married John Moore, their dau 
   Margaret Moore married Cuthbert Prescott senior.
   1701 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Cuth Prescott had cottages of 9d yearly rent, and he sold the rent to Richard Peak who then sold it to Thomas Quay, 
   who was entered for the cottages rent in 1701.
