Archdeacon Will 1666A #34 German will of Hugh Rancroft / Ranscroft / Ravenscroft, died 13 March 1666/7:

Christian Watterson, daughter of Thomas, and her husband Henry Gick/Juke: wife of Thomas is not mentioned, dau Christian married to Henry Gick/Juke/Duke 
[they were dead by 1702 per 1702 Manorial Rolls of Peel cottages], sister of Thomas is Ann Watterson.

Will of dau Mary: ArW 1686A #18 German will of Ann Watterson of Peel, died 24 December 1686, not married: niece Christian Watterson, brother Thomas 
Watterson died before Ann, also: Margaret Cottier, Mrs Ellinor Radcliffe, Ellin Radcliffe, Mrs Margaret Radcliffe.
Son: Liber Canc 1676 German #124: Richard Ravenscroft sold to Christopher Cotch a parcel of farmland in Ballatersin of 2d rent.
?Son: Old German Bundle 1, #48, German: Robert Ravenscroft, now of Douglas & his wife Ann Ravenscroft alias Baker sold for £5 10s to Thomas Fairbrother 
& William Fairbrother a small parcel of quarterland formerly part of Ballaterson near Peel known as Knock Bane, adjacent to William Cooper on the southside 
& Caesar Wattleworth on the north, 6d Lord's rent; witnesses Thomas Mylchreest & William Craine & Nicholas Kewley & William Flexney, Court May 1714.
Father & mother who remarried to [Peter?] Hartley: 1654 Liber Vastarum, German: John Ravenscroft & Margaret Hunter had a kiln & garden of 3d yearly rent, 
& John Ravenscroft was dead and Margaret his wife in her poverty & need sold it to Charles Radcliffe with the consent of her son Mungo Hartley, QUESTION, 
did Margaret Hunter marry 1st John Ravenscroft /Rancroft & 2nd xxxx (?Peter) Hartley?

Self &c: 1654 Liber Vastarum, German: Mungo Hartley was entered for farmland of 4d yearly rent in Ballatersin treen (total rent 25s 4d) 
and he sold 1 1/2d single rent to Hugh Ravenscroft for the sum of £3, & Hugh was entered for the 1 1/2d rent in 1654.
Self &c: 1654 Liber Vastarum, German: Hugh Ravenscroft had a parcel of intack land of 2d yearly rent & sold it to John Corris, who gave this land to Mungo 
Hartly in exchange for other ground, who was entered for the land of 2d rent, as well as another parcel for 1d rent from Hugh Ravenscroft, in 1654.
Self & half brother Mungo &c: 1660 Liber Vastarum, German: Mungo Hartley had farmland of 1 1/2d rent in Ballatersin treen and sold 1/2d rent to Isabel 
Sherlock who was now dead and her executors sold it to Hugh Ranscroft who was entered for the 1/2d rent in 1660.
1660 Liber Vastarum, German: Mungo Hartley had two parcels of intack land, one of 2d rent & another of 4d rent, & he sold the 2d rent to William Callister 
which Mungo acknowledged in court in 1669, and sold 3d rent of the 4d rent also to William Callister, who was entered for the said rents.
Mother & halfbrother: 1668 Liber Vastarum, German: Margaret [Hartley alias Ranscroft alias] Hunter had a parcel of intack of 1d yearly rent belonging to 
Sarsdall treen, and she was dead, so her only son Mungo Hartley was entered for it in 1668.  NOTE, Margaret's eldest son Hugh Rancroft died in March 1666/7.
Halfbrother & son Robert 1696 Liber Vastarum, German: Mungo Hartley had a parcel of farmland of 3d yearly rent in Ballatersin treen (total rent 25s 4d), & 
he was dead, so that Robert Ravenscroft was entered for the rent by virtue of a recovery at law as appears in the Common Law book anno 1694, reserving the 
right of the heirs of Mungo Hartley as mentioned in the Jury's verdict.

NOTE, that the surname Rancroft is the same as Ranscroft and appears to have morphed from Ravenscroft.

German the The last will and testament of Hugh Ranchroft who departed this life the 13th of March 1666/7; first he committed his Soule to God and his body to Christian buriall; It: he left to Mr John Knight twentie shillings eight pence that was due to him; It: he did acknowledge that he was indepted to John Clucas twentie shillings but that he was payd for it seaven firletts of barley; It: he left to his daughter Mary 5s; It: to his son Robert one shillinge; It: to his first wives children six pence apeece; It: Henry Younge one shilling; It: to Mr Edward Christian three shillings; It: to Michaell Christian two shillings sixe pence; It: to Robert Stevenson three shillings and did constitute and ordaine his wife and his two sonnes viz: Edward and Hugh Ranchroft his true and lawfull execr of all his goods moveable & unmoveable; It: further the witnesses saith that the houses and the lands was left to the wife dureinge her life and after her decease to returne to his son Richard now testes dwelling in Ireland Tho: Corlett Mungo Hartley jurati pbat et Solvit 6d The invent: priced by Henry Dozen, Tho: Corlett, Silvester Clarke & William Dozen beinge sworne: The wiffe hath sworne that there is not a peny worth of any goods after the debts pd, but only the house, croft & garden
