Archdeacon Will 1667A #10 Lezayre will of John Carran / McYlcarran / Mylecaraine, has sheep in Slieau Managh, Lezayre, died 29 November 1667: 
Summary: wife Margaret Killey/Gill died a few days before him [her will ArW 1667A #09 Andreas], son Thomas, son Michael, dau Margaret, son William, dau 
Mally, also: John Killey; witnesses: Daniel Lace & John Keig.
Will of wife: ArW 1667A #09 Andreas, of Margaret Carran/McYlcarran alias Killey, died intestate about 26 November 1667: John Carran/McYlcarran/Mylecaraine, 
died 29 Nov 1667, his will ArW 1667A #10 Lezayre, children: son William, dau Margaret, son Thomas, son Michael, dau Mally and dau Isabel, all of lawful 
years and married; pledges: John Christian homye in Ramsey [?John the son OR grandson of Thomas Christian] & John Christian of Michael.
Self: 1656 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: John Mcylcarran/Carran has a parcel of intack land [called Slieau Maynagh/Slieau Managh].
Self &c: 1661 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: John Carran had a parcel of intack of 6d rent in Grest treen, and in 1661, 
William Knickle & William Kneale were jointly entered for the 6d rent.
Son: 1668 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: William Mcylcarran/Carran had a parcel of intack of 8d yearly rent belonging to Sulby treen, 
and sold it to Patrick Christian who was entered for it in 1668.
Son &c: 1671 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: William Mcylcarran/Carran had a parcel of intack land belonging to Alkest treen, 
and he was dead (Episcopal Will 1671 Lezayre), and it went by right to Gilbert Lace.
Son:  1677 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: William Mcylcarran/Carran had intack land in Alia Sulby treen of 12d rent.
Son &c: 1682 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: William Mcylcarran/Carran had land in Particles and he had been dead some years, 
so that the land went by right to Gilbert Lace  
Son & granddau & her husband: 1692 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: William Mcylcarran/Carran had intack land of 20d rent in Sulby treen and was dead, and the 
right of the rent fell to his daughter Margaret Mcylcarrane and she with her husband William Corlett sold the rent to Robert Corlett cloddaugh who was 
entered for it in 1692. 
Son Thomas &c: 1692 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Gilbert Lace with Thomas Mcylcarran jointly had two parcels of intack land of 12d yearly rent each, and 
Gilbert Lace had another parcel of 12d rent, and in 1693, Gilbert Lace was dead [Episcopal Will books 1684-1688 Bride], so that John Christian & William 
Lace & Michael Lace were jointly entered with Thomas Mcylcarran for the 2s rent formerly between Thomas and Gilbert Lace, and John Lace was entered for 
the 12d rent that had been solely in Gilbert's name, per Gilbert's last will and testament.

Leyayre At a Court holden in Jurby ye 1th Jan: 1667/8 before Parson Parre & Parson Harison vicar genll This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Joh: McYlcarran who depted this life ys 29th of Nor: 1667 who commited his soule to God etc It: I leave to my sonn Tho: 4£ yt he hath in lands & 4 sheepe of his owne goods; It: I leave him also 27s in leu & consideration of the mothers pt of goods; It: I leave to my son Michell 4£ in the said lands & a heffer & a stirk & wt sheepe I have in the Sleau Maynaugh & also 27s in consideration of the mothers pt of goods It: to my daugr Margt: 4 sheep & 3 yards of gray cloath & to be equall with my other children in ye executorship & also a flagon betwixt her & Willm: It: I leave to John Killy a sheepe & to his daugr 2 sheepe; It: hee willed yt 2 geese should be exempted from ye executors & only left in the farme; Itm: I constitute & appoint my son Willm:, Mally, Margt:, & Issable sole executors of all the rest of my goods moveable & immoveable wt soever; It: I leave to John Killy a shute of cloath Tho: & Michel have given yr consents to ys will in ye face of the Court testes: Donll Lace Joh: Kegg jurati The execurs sworne in Court pbatum et solvit 1s
