Archdeacon Will 1667A #14 Lezayre will of Joney Kinread alias Skillicorn, made 3 March 1667/8, proved 14 March 1667/8: 
Summary: husband [Thomas] Kinread is not mentioned (dead by March 1655/6 [?his will ArW 1654A #65 Lezayre), son Thomas Kinread (he has a contract bargain, 
his wife Averick, and 2 children), dau Ellin/Nelly & dau Margaret Kinread, witnesses: John Huddlestone & Philip Corlett, pledges: Richard Garrett & James 
Radcliffe.  NOTE, the children of Joney do not match this Thomas Kinread whom Joney married (per will of her brother John Skillicorn, ArW 1650A #38 Lezayre), 
yet Joney's husband was dead by 9 March 1655/6, and ArW 1654A #65 Lezayre will of Thomas Kinread is the only Thomas Kinread who has a will during this time; 
NOTE, Ellin dau of Thomas Kinread & Averick Kewley married by Articles of Marriage to John Callister per 1690 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre.

yt wee Elin Kinred and Margret Kinred have had recived from ye hands of oure brother Thomas Kinred all ye goods beinge due unto us from oure last deceased 
father and have agreed upon therefore wee doe subscribe and sett to oure hands not to troble ye sd Thomas oure brother to sue after ye sd goods given under 
oure hands ye 9th of March 1655  Elin Kinred X,  Margret Kinred X.
?Will of husband: ArW 1654A #65 Lezayre will of Thomas Kinread, died 2 ---- 1654, intestate: wife [Joney Skillicorn] is alive [died 1667/8, ArW 1667A #14 
Lezayre], unmarried children: son Ewan/Evan (underage) & son Thomas & dau Averick & dau Joney, pledges: brother William Kinread & William Corlett son of 
Phinlo Corlett, also: Richard Kinread entered a claim, Isabel Keeney/Kewney alias Crowe & her children Joney & Ann made a claim for 3s 5d.  NOTE, that when 
the Court made a decree because there is no will, the unmarried children are named as administrators, and married children are named only if there are no 
unmarried children.

Kinread family in Lezayre in 1639 per 1639 Liber Assed, Lezayre: The following Kinreads are mentions: Gilbert Kinread & John Kinread jointly had a parcel of 
quarterland in Sulby treen of 16d yearly rent. David Kinread & Isabel Kneen had a parcel of quarterland in Sulby treen of 7s 2d yearly rent. Thomas Kinread 
& Richard Kinread had joint rent of quarterland of nearly 7s rent in Sulby treen, & Gilbert Kinread of another parcel in the same quarterland of 7s rent. 
Catharine Kinread and Daniel/Donold Garrett had a parcel of quarterland jointly with Edmund Crowe of 22s rent in the treen of Aust. John Kinread had a 
cottage in Lezayre of 4d rent.  
?Husband & brother in law:  1654 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre:  David Kinread had a parcel of intack land of 2s 4d rent, and he was dead [Episcopal will], & his 
brother Thomas Kinread was bequeathed it and was now in possession of it and paying rent, so was entered for it in 1654;  
?Husband: 1656 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Thomas Kinread had farmland in Soulby treen of 4d rent and William Garrett was entered for it by sale from Thomas 
Kinread, & William had his portion of the fine for the same upon the Composition made in 1643, and since 1652, William Garrett was entered  for the land on 
certain conditions made when Thomas Kinread made an opposition.  
?Son: 1668 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Thomas Kinread had a parcel of intack belonging to Sulby treen of 20d rent, and was entered for it in 1668
?Husband & son: 1668 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Thomas Kinread had a parcel of intack belonging to Sulby treen of 18d rent, 
and Thomas Kinread was entered for it in 1668.
?Husband & son: 1684 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Richard Kinread & Catharine Kneen had a parcel of intack of 2 1/2d rent, and they sold it to Thomas Kinread, 
& Thomas Kinread the son of the said Thomas Kinread was entered for it in 1684.
?Husband & son: 1684 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Margaret Skillicorn & William Corlett had a parcel of intack of 6d rent belonging to Alkest treen, 
and they sold a parcel with rent of 3/4d to Thomas Kinread drum, who was entered for it in 1684 (?& his son Thomas Kinread after him?).
Son & his wife, etc: 1690 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Thomas Kinread drum & wife Averick [Kewley] had two parcels of intack land of 7 1/2d & 2 1/2d, and their 
daughter Ellinor & her husband John Callister were entered in 1690 for the 10d rent, by virtue of Articles of Marriage, with wife Averick having the right 
of half of it until she died per the Articles of Marriage.  NOTE, Averick died about 1681, Episcopal will.
Son & his wife, etc: 1690 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Thomas Kinread drum & wife Averick [Kewley] had a parcel of intack land of 3/4d & Thomas Kinread junior 
[probably the same as Thomas drum] had a parcel of intack land of 12d, and their daughter Ellinor Kinread & her husband John Callister were entered in 1690 
for the 12d & 3/4d rents, by virtue of Articles of Marriage, with wife Averick having the right of half of it until she died per the Articles of Marriage. 
NOTE, Averick died about 1681, Episcopal will.
Son & his wife, etc: 1690 Liber Vastarum, Lezayre: Patrick Christian & his wife Ellin had a parcel of intack of 5d rent & of 8d rent, and sold it to Thomas 
Kinread drum, and Thomas Kinread and Averick [Kewley, died about 1681, Episcopal will] his wife entered John Callister & Ellinor Kinread his wife for the 
5d rent & the 8d rent by virtue of Articles of Marriage, with Averick having half the premises during her natural lifetime, & John & Ellinor were entered 
for the land in 1690.  NOTE, Averick died about 1681, Episcopal will.
Dau in law, wife of Thomas Kinread: EpW bks 1679-1683 Lezayre will of Averick Kinread alias Kewley.
