Archdeacon Will 1668A #39 Malew will of Richard Coward / Coard of Castletown & Glashen, died 2 December 1668:

Self &c: 1658 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Jane Sansbury had a pann, with rent of 3d for firma brass, and she was long dead [ArW 1628A #01 Malew] and the pann 
had gone to decay, therefore the quest entered the name of Richard Coar for the same in respect he had a brewing pann, which he farms for the rent.
Self &c: 1671 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Richard Coard had rent of 3d for firm brass, and he sold the pann to Thomas Quay who had possession of it and ought to 
come forth charge for the same.

Self & wife & father in law, & dau & her husband: 1677 Liber Vastarum, Malew: William Chisnall & Richard Coard had a parcel of intack of 1d rent, & by 
virtue of the last will of Richard Coard, the right of it went to his dau Mary Coard & her husband Thomas Ottiwell, & also with a deed of gift from William 
Chisnall, reserving the right of Alice Coard als Chisnall, the late wife of Richard Coard if she claims any.
Self & wife & father in law, & dau & her husband: 1677 Liber Vastarum, Malew: William Chisnall & Richard Coard had cottages of 15d rent & 10d rent, & by 
virtue of the last will of Richard Coard, the right of it went to his dau Mary Coard & her husband Thomas Ottiwell, & also with a deed of gift from William 
Chisnall, reserving the right of Alice Coard als Chisnall, the late wife of Richard Coard if she claims any.
Dau & son in law: 1687 Liber Vastarum, Malew:  Mary Coard & her husband Thomas Ottiwell had a parcel of intack of 1d yearly rent, and they were both dead, 
and having contracted more debts than their goods would extend to, so that the administration had fallen to the General Sumner. The spritual officers 
ordered the said Generall Sumnr upon good and especiall reasons appearing unto them, to sell the dwelling houses, backsides and garden belonging to the said 
Ottiwell and his wife to a public sale, for the advantage of the creditors, which was done, and Mr Robert Murrey of Chester profferred a full valuation of 
the said premises, and the General Sumner passed over the said premises to the said Mr Murrey by a formal deed of conveyance under his hand and seal, to 
come forth as right owner for the same for the future.
Dau & son in law: 1687 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Mary Coard & her husband Thomas Ottiwell had cottages in Castletown of 15d yearly rent & 10d yearly rent, and
