1662 Liber Vastarum, Malew: cottages: Edward Robinson was entered for cottages of 6d yearly rent, and this 6d rent with other rents (8 1/2d rent & 18d rent) 
were recovered by Mrs Ann Sharples alias [Dawson], late wife of Mr John Sharples Comptroller deceased, by virtue of an order made by the honorable lord's 
commissioners, together with the officers and 24 keys, together subscribing in anno 1660 upon an order obtained by the said Edward Robinson from his lordship 
for a hearing & determining of the said business as it appears upon record. Now the said Ann Sharples in behalf of herself & children by virtue of a letter 
of attorney under her hand & seal, assigned in that behalf authorising her to that end, as also appears, have reconveyed the said rents to Mary Whetstone/
Whitestone [alias Robinson, widow of Thomas Whetstone/Whitestone] & hers forever by a bill of sale acknowledged before & confirmed by the officers according 
to the statue in that behalf in considerationof the sum of £40 sterling which is fully satisfied & paid to the said Mrs Sharples before the entry hereof.
   Mary &c: 1662 Liber Vastarum, Malew: cottages: John Fargher was entered for cottages of 12 1/2d yearly rent (total rent for the cottages 4s 2d), this rent 
   being for a croft & formerly engaged by a conditional setting from Thomas Gerrard, & the same has been released by the said John Fargher, & now his money 
   being repaid him by Mary Whetstone/Whitestone [alias Robinson. widow of Thomas Whetstone] in behalf of herself & her children, she was entered for the 
   same, reserving her children's right when they come to years, but in respect this payment was made with her own goods, the same was to be allowed in the 
   ----tions or otherwise considered of at the said time.
   Mary Robinson & husband Thomas Whetstone & father in law Anthony: 1662 Liber Vastarum, Malew: cottages: Anthony Whetstone/Whitestone was entered for rent 
   of cottages (total rent 4s 2d), and he was long since dead, and his son [Thomas] being married to Mary Whetstone [alias Robinson] & Thomas also dead, Mary 
   was entered for 12 1/2d yearly rent, she having recovered the same, but to be considered as the children's portions or otherwise when they came to years, 
   if they do not otherwise agree between themselves as before.
   Husband & son of Mary Robinson: 1662 Liber Vastarum, Malew: Anthony Halsall was entered for a parcel of intack land of 2s yearly rent, which was formerly 
   in the possession of the administrators of deceased Thomas Whetstone/Whitestone, father of Thomas Whetstone/Whitestone, which intack was enclosed by the 
   late Earl of Derby when he was in the Isle. In respect of the controversy of the damages at Ballagilley upon the values showed in the book of compositions 
   made in 1643, and at the time that the Isle was under the command of the Parliament forces & possessed by the Lord Fairfax, the said 2s was compounded for 
   by Anthony Halsall with his lordships commissioners. And now the said ground was made unto the said Thomas Whetstone the father, by the 24 Keys as his 
   right, & so has fallen to Thomas his son, who was now entered.
