Archdeacon Will 1669A #066 Michael will of Catharine Quayle, died 4 November 1669:
Summary: not married, mother [?Catharine Quayle] is dead, father [John] Quayle is alive, uncle & executor John Quayle (sick at probate), brother in law 
John Quayle (married to xxxx Quayle); also: Mallooney Booye/Boyde & wife; Alice Cannell, witnesses: William Christian & Adam Booye, pledge is Adam Booye.
Michael parish register: Kat Quayle daughter of John Quayle buried 5 November 1669.
?1624 Liber Vastarum, Michael: John Quiggin had rent of 7s 1d & Catharine Quayle & her husband John Quayle had rent of 2s 10 1/2d, in 
Shalgagh treen and in 1624, John Cannell was entered for 4s 10 1/2d by delivery of the straw from Catharine Quayle & John Quayle.  
   1638 Liber Vastarum, Michael:   Catharine Quayle alias Quayle (wife of John Quayle) had farmland in Shelgagh treen of 2s 5 1/2d rent, 
   and John Cannell was entered for it by consent of Catharine Quayle & her husband John Quayle.
?Will of grandfather: ArW 1631A #101 Lezayre will of old Gilbert Quayle of ney Skellih/BallaSkella, also farms of Ballacreggan and Lhergy ne Creggan, died 
10 November 1630: wife is alive [ her will ArW 1637A #157 Maughold], legitimate children: son John the younger (of age, left B'Creggan) & son William 
junior (of age, left goods in Lhery ne Creggan) & son Daniel/Donold & dau Catharine & son & youngest child Gilbert, eldest son John the elder, dau Joney 
(married to Gilbert Kinread), dau Averick, son William senior, brother in law William Garrett & brother John Quayle, witnesses: son John Quayle & son 
William Quayle were not lawful & so will was not accepted; supervisors & pledges: son John Quayle junior & son William Quayle junior; also, the brother John 
Quayle & William Garrett are to arbitrate the disagreements over the will decree.  QUESTION: Are the other listed children also legitimate but married, and 
so the Court did not include them as administrators of Gilbert's will decree because they had received dowry's when married?
