Archdeacon Will 1681A #21 Malew will of Thomas Quiggin, died 1681/2, will per (torn & unreadable) 1662 Contraction Bargain made 
by Thomas and his wife Joney Quay with son in law John Bell of Ballananke and [underage] daughter Ann on their marriage:  
Summary: wife Joney Quay died 1670 (but recorded as ArW 1681A #20 Malew), dau Ann married John Bell of Ballananke in 1662 
(she was underage/not yet 21 years old at that time), also: Isabel Quiggin, through her husband William Stowell, entered 
a claim for 5s [Malew parish register: Isabel Quiggin married William Stowell/Stole on 19 August 1679 in Malew]
Malew parish register:  Thomas Quiggin, Runer,  buried 10 January 1681/2
wife: Malew parish register:  Jony Quiggin als Quay  buried 18 March 1669/70
will of wife: ArW 1681A #20 Malew will of Joney Quiggin alias Quay, died 17 March 1669/70: Thomas Quiggin, son in law John Bell of 
BallaNanke, also: John Corlett, Sir Thomas Parr,  witnesses: Robert Corrin & John Bell, pledges: Robert Corrin & William Cuddy/Quiddy.
dau: Malew parish register:  Ann Quiggin married John Bell on 16 November 1662 in Malew 
NOTE: In 1662, John Bell of Ballananke entered in to a marriage contract, on his own account, to marry Ann Quiggin, not yet of age. 
However, John Bell would have been at least age 21; he could not have entered into a legal contract on his own behalf unless he were.

4th May 1681 The Contraccon bargane of John Bell Nanke in his owne behalfe and Tho: Quiggin in ye behalfe of his daughter Ann on ye other pte, wch Contraccon is all torne yt is cannot be Read, & all ye witnesses beinge dead except Rich: Waterson & Robt Quayle, who have this day sworne, yt ye sd Tho: Quiggin & his wife Jony, was to give ye sd Bell wth their daughter Ann, viij£ when shee came to yeares and all ye their goods ye halfe at ye death of ye first of them & ye other halfe at ye death of ye longest lived of them, They haveing ye benefit of halfe of ye sd Bells farme dureing ye sd Tearme And all this before mee, By us Rich: Waterson X Tho: Ffletcher Robt Quayle R Att Castletown ffebry: ye 21th 1681/2 The above Contract proved before the Deemster is accepted of as the last will & Testament of Thomas Quiggin, & Ann Quiggin his daughter is sworn Execrx: in form of law to pform all things by law required of her as execr: of her sd ffather Salvo tamen vincuig Suo jure Probatum et solvit ---[edge] [Found 2 pages later, at the bottom of ArW 1681A #23 Malew will of Joney Gick alias Kneale:] The Inventorie of the goods of Tho: Quiggin who was buried Jan: 10th 81, veiwd and priced by swarn men Tho: Bell, X?to: Bell, Robt Corrin and Robt Quaile as followeth Inprimis 2 horses a maire and colt 26s ............................. 01 - 06 ----[fold] Item ould fledge ould blankett and 3 qrters pladdinge and his clothes 00 - 07 - ----[fold] Item a cow 18s a heffer and a halfe and a steere 27s ................ 02 - 05 - ----[fold] Item 2 sheepe 2s .................................................... 00 - 01 - 0----[fold] The will of the said Tho: is in the Contraction given to Jo: Bell and his daughter Debts to be deducted (besides funerall charges) 22s 5d pledges in form of law Hen: Taylor & Robt: Quayle [found immediately before ArW 1682A #07 Malew will of Ellin Bell alias Mylrea:] Wm Stole in behalf of Issabell Quiggin entrs his claim agt ye Execr: of Tho: Quiggin for 5s
