This is affirmed by the subscribed wittnesses to be the last 
Will and Testament of Jon: Curleod, who departed this 
life about ye 16th of March 1681/2, being in good and pfect 
memory, did  first comitt his soule to almighty god and 
body to Christian buriall.  Ittm: he left and bequeathed to 
his son Wm: an ewe.  Ittm: he did averr that there was 
fourty shilings due to him from ye wife and Executors of Gilb: 
Clearke,  wch was never paid him; but is as yett due     And 
lastly constituted and ordained his Daughter Ann Curleod 
his true and lawfull Executr of all his goods moveable & 
unmoveable whatsoever
