In the name of God, Amen.  Sepbr: the twenty seventh one thousand 
six hundred & eighty four.  I Anthony Courras being of per=
fect memory, and remembrance (praised be God) do make & or=
daine this my last will and testament in manner & form 
following 
First I bequeath my soule into ye hands of Almighty God 
my maker, hoping yt through the meitorious death and pass---[edge]    
of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour & Redeemer, to receive 
free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sinnes; and as for 
my body to bee buried in Christian buriall att the discretion 
of my friends
Itt: I leave unto my son Edward the new house & garden being 
situated betwixt Arthur Halsals & Robt: Qualtroughs pay
ing the annual rent of six pence, and as for the new outlett 
adjoyning to ye sd garden I leave betwixt both my sons 
Itt: In legacy, I leave unto my Daughter Margaret 6d.
Itt: To my daughter Katharin ............ 0 - 0 - 6d. 
Lastly I leave unto my beloved wife Sara my dweling 
house wth the goods there unto belonging during the 
term of her natural life and after her decease the sd house 
unto my eldest son Tho:  his heyre & executors for ever 
noting yt after her above sd death all ye houshould stuff and 
to be equally divided betwixt both my sons: and if incase 
my eldest son doe marry during his mothers life; then 
he is to obtaine ye use of ye above sd house, wth all ye 
brewing vessels thereunto belonginge Edward having 
likwise ye use of ye sd vessals.     In wittness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand & mrk ye day & year last
