The last will & testamt: of Margarett Read 
als Gawne, who beinge sicke in body, but in 
perfect memory, praised be God for the same,  
first she comended her soule to God, & her body to 
Christian buriall   It: to the poore dj firlat of 
barley,   Itt: t my husband 1 calfe legt:  Itt: to my 
father in law 1 shirte cloath;  Itt: to the minister one 
sheepe in the Rawney;   Itt: to my sister in law a 
loughton wastcoate,   Itt: I doe nominate & appointe 
my onely daughter Margarett Read sole Executrixe 
of all the rest of my goods moveable & unmoveable 
& my ffather William Gawne her overseer
