This is affirmed by the subscribed wittnesses to be the Last will and testament 
of William Ffargher who departed this liffe the 23th of Jan: anno 1685;    
Ffirst he committed his soule to almighty God and his body to Christian buriall   
Ittem he left to the poore a fer: of mault to be ----d and disbursed by 
the execr: at ye usuall tyme at Hallowtid;   Ittem he left to his son 
Thomas Ffargher all the cropp of corne and that it was too little to 
pay ---- what debt was belonging to it;   Itt: he left to his said son 
Thomas Ffargher the price of ye oxe wch was sould at hallowtide last and 
one horse being for two beast in ye teame and plow;   Ittem he left to 
his grandson Thomas Ffargher one heiffer two sheep and two lambs if 
there were 2 lae:   Ittem he left to his son Willm Fargher one ------[dark]    
Itt: he left to his two daughters in law halfe a cow and yt ye other ----[dark]     
the said cowe was his son Tho:   Itt: he left what linin there was in ----[dark]     
house to his said 2 daughters in law, and what flax there was l----[dark]     
yeare he left it to his daughter in law Mariott;   Ittem he ----[dark]     
to his sisters daughter Christian Costeene one blankett  ----[dark]     
Ittem he constituted and ordained his deare son Thomas Ffargher 
his true and Lawfull executor of all the rest of his goods 
moveable and unmoveable whatsoever
