Be it knowne unto all men by these prsent that I Thomas Waterson ----[dark]
Peeletown wth the full consent & assent of my sister Ann Waterson doe
give grant & forevermore passe ovr unto my loveing Daughter Christian
Waterson & to her husband Henry Gicke halfe our now dwelling
house in ye towne abovese of ye yearely rent of 4d ob to them the ----[dark]
Henry & Christian their heires executors & assignes for ever, after
the Death of ye longer liver of me & my sd sister Ann, as our act
And deed of gift, upon condition the sd Henry & Christian shall forth
with after the Date of these prsents come & cohabite with me & my
foresd sister and looke to us in our old decrept age, & repaire ----[dark]
sd house sufficiently wthout our assistance after ye date of these prsent
And as for our mantainance & livelihood wee shall not trouble ym
the sd Henry & his wife whilst it shall please God to enable us to
finde ourselves, but if it please God so to dispose of us, that
wee cannot mantaine & releeve ourselves, then the abovesd
Henry & Christian his wife bindes themselves to mantaine relieve
and looke to us as their owne parents, & then after ye death of ye
longest liver of us, the sd Henry & his wife is to enioy all the above
said house & garden and all our other goods whatsoever moveable & umovable
And for pformance of all & singuler the prmises both pties have bound them
selves in ye panelty of ye forfiture of five pounds sterling the
halfe to ye honble: Lord of ye Soyle, & the other halfe to ye ptie pforming
as witnesse our names & markes this 2th of June 1686
