Jan: ye 26th 1686 Michael In ye name of God Amen, I Joney Ffayle (being sick and weak in body, but of sound and pfect memory thanks be to Almighty God) do make this my last will and Testamt: in manner and form as followeth: first I committ my soul unto God who gave it me, and my body to Christian buriall. It: I leave unto ye poor one sheep and one half firlett of meal, It: I bequeath unto my son John my heir, my share of ye crop of corn, together with my share of ye Team, with all my pte of ye husbandry gears belonging to ye farm, Itt: to ye sd Jo: one new fledge. It: I leave unto my sister Kath: Ffayle one gray blanket. It: to my brother James one qrtr: of a calf wearing of a year old. It: to my brother Wm: one white blanket. It: to Margtt: Killey one kerchiff and to her daughter Margery a pair of bodies and one apron. It: I appoint both my loving brothers Wm: and James Ffayle to be overseers over my children.
