Duglas: July the 24th 1686 In the name of God amen, I Christopher Bridson being sick a------[dark] in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God doe ma------[dark] this my last will and testament in manr: and form as followeth: first I comitt my soule to God my Creator and redeemer, and my body to Christian buriall, Ittm: I beequeath to my son Robert Bridson wil the consent of my wife our part of the miln, what did belong unto us of the same to be quit from us forever, the name of the miln being called after the name of Mullen Oats, Secondly I leave to my son Robert wth the consent of wife Likewise the brewhouse ajoyning to our dwelling house; Ittm: I leave to my son John Bredson the half of a heifer that is now in the keeping and custodie of Giles Bredson, Lastly I doe nominate constitutde and ordaine my Loveing wife Margrett Bredson alias Joynr, to be my true and Lawfull executor of all the rest of my goods moveable and unmoveable of what kind or nature so ever witnes prsent, hearunto The Executrix at lawfull age is sworn John Ffinch his mrk J} in Court in form of law Thomas Christian } jurati Probatum est et solvit 1s an Invictory of the goods of Christopher Bredson who departed this Life the 26th of January Last 1686, given in by his wife In gross the sum of .............................. 07£ - 01s 0 ---- pledges secundum forman legis Jon: Ffinch & Tho: Xtian
