Patrick Novr: 17th 1684 In ye name of God, Amen, I John Gell being sick in body but whole in mind praised be God doe make this my last will & testamt: in manner following. first I committ my soul to God, & my body to Christian buriall. Itt: I leave to ye poore 3 half firletts of chief corne; Itt: I leave to my son Phinlo ten shillings to what he hath already re= ceived to pay him his mothers pt of goods; It: I leave to my son Willm: a cow at Willm: Quirke half another cow & half an heifer to pay him his mothers part of goods besides ye part of my executorship; Itt: I leave to my son Thomas twenty shillings worth of goods for what he pd to my son John to discharge his mothers pt of goods. It: I leave to my grandchild Katie Cubon two sheep. To my son John in Legasie a sheep. To my son Phinlo an ewe. It: to my daughter Alice ye blankett I lie in. It: to my grandson John Shimin a sheep, to Katie Shimin an ewe, and to Ann Shimin a lamb. It: to my grandsons Tho: Gell and Willm: Gell a sheep apeice.
