German parish register: Ellin Stevenson buried 29 November 1688. ?Son: German parish register: Robert Stevenson inft buried 27 June 1665. ?Dau: German parish register: infant dau to Robt Stevenson buried 11 March 1676/7. ?Will of husband Robert's first wife: ArW 1660A #12 German will of Jane Stevenson alias Moore, dated 16 February 1658/9: husband Robert Stevenson (they have a Bargain of Contract from husband's parents; he appears to have remarried [to Ellin Taubman who died 1688, ArW 1688A #55 German]), son & heir William Stevenson (underage), dau Mary / Marie Stevenson, dau Jane, son James, she is pregnant [?with dau Elizabeth, & Jane died in childbirth], mother is alive, overseers: father xxxx Moore & brother James Moore, witnesses: James Moore & Thomas Killey, pledges: John Caine & Thomas Radcliffe. ?Stepson & heir of husband: German parish register: William Stevenson son to Robt Stevenson buried 27 January 1675/6. ?Will of stepson & heir of husband: ArW 1675A #146 German will of William Stevenson, died 27 January 1675/6: not married, father Robert Stevenson, brother James, sisters; witnesses: Gilbert Gell & Thomas Leece & Thomas Woods, pledge: uncle Capt Thomas Woods [Thomas Woods married Catharine Stevenson who was the sister of Robert Stevenson who was the father of the testator]. Husband &c: 1691 Composition Book, German: In 1643, Philip Sayle & Robert Crellin were tenants of / compounded for farmland, and in 1691, John Sayle was tenant, with lives in being Robert Stevenson aged 63 years. Husband & his father, etc: AW Moore, Old Manx Families: "This family claims, and probably rightly, to be connected with their namesakes of Balladoole. The William Stevenson who is mentioned in the manorial rolls of 1657 as having property in the parish of German is probably brother of Richard & was an MHK in 1637. He was succeeded by Robert, also MHK, who was proprietor of Lhergydhoo in 1677. ... Lhergydoo in the Parish of German remained in the possession of William's successors till the beginning of the 19th Century, when the heiress married a Moore,whose grandson, John Stevenson Moore, was living in 1889.
