Husband &c: 1691 Composition Book, German: In 1643, Philip Sayle & Robert Crellin were tenants of / compounded for farmland, 
and in 1691, John Sayle was tenant, with lives in being Robert Stevenson aged 63 years.
Husband & his father, etc:  AW Moore, Old Manx Families: "This family claims, and probably rightly, to be connected with their namesakes of Balladoole. The William 
Stevenson who is mentioned in the manorial rolls of 1657 as having property in the parish of German is probably brother of Richard & was an MHK in 1637.  He was 
succeeded by Robert, also MHK, who was proprietor of Lhergydhoo in 1677. ... Lhergydoo in the Parish of German remained in the possession of William's successors 
till the beginning of the 19th Century, when the heiress married a Moore,whose grandson, John Stevenson Moore, was living in 1889.
