The last will and testament of William Cross who de=
parted this life about the 8th day of December anno 1687 ----[dark]    
ing of good & perfect memory;   first he committed his soul 
unto God and his body to Xtian Buriall;   Itm: he bequeathed 
unto his sister Margrt: Cross the one halfe of 2 hee yearlings 
willed that his Executor should pay 3 shillings more unto the sd 
Margrt: Cross, which he owed her.  Itm: he acknowledged that ----[dark]    
owed one shill: unto Dan: Xtian, and willed that his Executor ----[dark]    
pay the same;  Itm: he left 4d to John Lace, 3d to Dan: Xtin 
and 2d to Dan: Corkish, which he owed them;  Itm: he ac=
knowledged that his Dir:[?] John Lace owed him 2 shill: and willed 
the same to be pd to his Executer;  Itm: he left to John 
Kneale Junior his hatt and his best coat.  Itm: he left and 
constituted his Aunt Ellinor Coule Executrix of all the rest ----[dark]    
his goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, & namely 
left her the houses and parcell of Land that was due to ----[dark]    
Also he left half a sheep to be expended at his funerall
