Ballaugh 1688 The last will and testamt: of Issabell Corlett who dyed the 19th of December 1688 as followeth: She committed her soule to God & her body to Christian buriall; Itm: She left for her funerall charges 3s 6d; Itm: She left to her Brother Willm: Corlett a canvish & a sheet; Itm: to his wife a pettie coate, or as much cloath as would be one, & being asked by one of ye witnesses whether the she would leave any more to her Brother Willm: She replyed that it was well she left him soe much but would leave him noe more. Itm: She bequeathed a black pettie coate of Linnsey= woolsey to Ann Craine; Itm: to Alice Corlett as much linnen cloath as could be an Apron; Itm: to Ann Cowley another Apron. Itm: to her Brother John's daughter vizt:Elin: Corlett a red pettiecoate, her best waistecoate, an apron a coife & hand=kerchiffe. Itm: to her Brother Jon: she left 5 or 6s wch laid in his own ands and what meale & corne he had of hers in his custodie together with a chest of hers yt laid in ye ---ke. Itm: to Elinr: Cowley an apron & halfe an head kerchiffe. Itm: She left yt whosoever of her executrs: should have certain lace made for her by ---- C----sen should pay 2d to ye said other. If any craved debt, she left her executrs: to satis= fie them; Itm: she left that Bahie Killip had a peece of flennin of hers in keeping vizt as much as would be a paire of drawers for her brother Jon: & a pettie coate to her sister Mally. Itm: She left yt none of those that had any of her goods in Custody should be sworn for ye same.
