Ballaugh The last will & testamt: of Danll: Corlett who departed this life ffebrie: ye 26th 1687 as followeth: Impr: he committed his soul to God & his body to Chris= tian buriall; Itm: he left to ye poor on halfe firlett of meal; Itm: to his steptson Adam Kelly a blaeckn colte and all his wearing cloath together wth as much of Russett cloath then in ye house as would be a coat, & of heurden as would be a shert, Itm: he bequeathed to his daughter Ann a peece of Land called Calisters Croft in lue of forty shillings due unto her by the death of her mother, And that by ye consent of his wife Anne Corlett als Cowley; Itm: he left to his said Daughter a brown colt, a sheet dj: firlett of plackett & the third part of what remained of his barly after sowing as Legasie; and he declared that his sd Daughtr: was already paid ye sume of twenty eight shillings of her mothers portion of goods. Itm: he bequeathed to his son Tho: his halfe of a feather bed, & left to his wife the bolster belonging to ye said bed together wth a blankett & a sheet pon condicon she should grant to ye said Tho: her halfe of all ye fither bed, to wch she consented; Itm: he enjoyned his said son to left his said wife have one of his houses to live in dureing her naturall life.
