a maintenance of him if the Lord withdrew & took him off his soldier's place and salary. If his daughter & grandson did not inhabit in Peel, then the barn commonly
called Cannon's house with garden shall descent to whomever he, John Cannel, thereafter appointed. Witnesses: Samuel Wattleworth & Hugh Craine & Catharine Gell.

died ye 9th of March (being sick and weak in body,
but of sound and pfect memory) in manner and
form as followeth: first he committed his soul to
God, and his body to Xtian buriall; It: he left unto
his daughtr: Ellinr: Cannell a sheep and a yearling
as legacy. It: he left unto her a heffer in like manner
It: he left unto his son Hugh a colt as Legacy.
It: he left unto his son Daniald his house and gardens
after his mothers death. It: he left yt he was indebted unto
