This is affirmed to be the last will & Testamt: of
William McMeer of Jurby who departed this life
December the 12th 1699, being in good & perfect me
mory
First he committed his soul to God & his body to
christian buriall; Itt: he bequeaths to his son
Mark McMeers children to witt Ann & Jean one
shill sixpence a peice legasie to be paid when
the Mortgage of Mooneil is redeemed. It: he
bequeaths to his son Johns children five shills:
betwixt them to be paid when Cooillavata is re=
deemed. Itt: he bequeaths to his loving wife Jean
Meer a colt & a heifer as legacie. Lastly he con
stituted her sole Executrix dureing life, & she to
bequeath it to Jony Meer Mark Meers daughter
which she consented to & to afirm this she has
subscribed her name & mark.

Likewise he declares yt if in case his son John Meer
did sue him for half a heifer, yt he left upon
him half a cow wth the increase wch was due
to him.
Also he declares yt he gave Wm Kelly twentie
shills: for wch he has a peice of Lands in mortgage

This day Wm Vandy & his wife Ann Kelley (for=
=merly wife to ye within Wm McNameer's son John) came
to ye Records, & doe acknowledge to have rec'd the five
shillings due to John's children as Legacy left by the
grandfather Wm McNameer, from Jony McNameer; and
do in ye behalf of the children acquit & discharge the
sd Jony McNameer & her Execrs & Assigns. As witness
their marks
