her 20s for which she had no bargain nor writing, and if he paid it quietly then he was to have 5s therof as a legasie to himself; Ittm: to ye witnesses of her

Jurby This is affirmed to be the last will & Testamt: of William McMeer of Jurby who departed this life December the 12th 1699, being in good & perfect me mory First he committed his soul to God & his body to christian buriall; Itt: he bequeaths to his son Mark McMeers children to witt Ann & Jean one shill sixpence a peice legasie to be paid when the Mortgage of Mooneil is redeemed. It: he bequeaths to his son Johns children five shills: betwixt them to be paid when Cooillavata is re= deemed. Itt: he bequeaths to his loving wife Jean Meer a colt & a heifer as legacie. Lastly he con stituted her sole Executrix dureing life, & she to bequeath it to Jony Meer Mark Meers daughter which she consented to & to afirm this she has subscribed her name & mark. Jean Meer her mark X Likewise he declares yt if in case his son John Meer did sue him for half a heifer, yt he left upon him half a cow wth the increase wch was due to him.
