Maugholl This is affirm'd to be the last will & testamt: of Ann Cowle who was of perfect memory comitted her soule to God & body to Christian buriall; She did acknowl edge shee was oweing unto Margrett Costen 4d, due also to Willm: Calows wife 3d, due to McLeroys wife 2d. Shee bequeathed to her sister Kathrin a red peticoat, a blew peticot to her sister Jony always pvided that if the youngest childe did dye they shold have the sd peticots & if shee liv'd they shold be for the childs use; Itt: two shutes of linens to be in her sd sisters custody for the use of her sd childe, and left the goods to children & her husband Willm Calow to take one of them & if her sd children did dye under age shee left the goods to himselfe wt:soever, Itt: to her sister Elizabeth 6d Legasy, Itt: to Mary Costen 4d The children being under age the husband is sworn supervisor in form of Law wittnesses Mary Costen Jony Cowle The Inventory prised the excetrs: £ s d part amounts to in gross ........... 3 - 0 - 0 two peticotts ...................... 0 - 9 - 0 pbatum est et solvit 10d pledges not Court The Goods in the hands of the ffather who hath given pledges in form of Law Will: Callow at Church and Michall Hogg accord ing to Law
