Will of Margaret Woods als Keig 1740/41

                                 Rushen

The last Will & Testament of Margt. Woods als Keig
who departed this life about 23d. Feb 1740.

Impt. She committed her soul to God & her body to
Christian burial.

Itm. She left & bequeathed to her loving husband ten shills.
Itm. To her son Robt. her part of the farm, & of all the
husbandry geers, & a quarter of the Crop. Itm. to her
two daughters Eleanor & jane ten shillings and also -
to each of them a suit of cloathes of what was in the
house, intended for them. Itm. to the said Jane a shee'
& lamb. Lastly, she nominated, constitued & appointed
the four daughters Margt. Eleanr. Anne & Jane joint
Execxes of all the rest of her Goods moveable and -
immoveable whatsoever, she also left to ther two daughters
Margt & Anne a suit of cloathes each, as above sd to Eleanr. & Jane

              This she uttered & declared
              in presence of us

             Jane one of the Execxes being under Age
             and Ellinr. absent ~ Margt.  Anne the other
             two Execs  are sworn in form of Law
             as also Overseers of the Minor & have given
             pledges Wm. Shimin & Nicholas Woods
             the Father-
Solvit 12d. The Goods of Jane are in the hands of
     her Fathr. who has gien pledges John Kelly Scard
