Thomas Corlett/Corris/ departed this life on or
abt the 16th Day of January last past Intestate_
The Court upon Intelligence thereof hath Decreed
his four children namely Thos. Robt. Willm. & John
Corlett joint adminrs. of all his Goods and Chattles
moveable & immovable whatsoever – who being under
age, their Uncles by the father’s side unto John, Robt.
& David Corlett are sworn Guardians & supervisors, to
return a perface Inventory to the Registry & for Paymt.
of the Intestate’s Debts so far as the goods will
extend & the Law shall bind – They have the Decd’s
Part of the Children’s Goods committed to their tuition
& have given Pledges in form of Law namely
John Kewley of Ballaterson & John Craine both of
Ballaugh_ Margt the Widow is sworn to render
a just acct. of the effects of the Decd.-

We William Corlett and John Corlett of the parish
of Ballaugh do herby acknowledge to have received
and to be fully paid & satisfied by and from the
hands of our uncle John Corlett of the parish of
Ballaugh the sum of Fourteen pounds currency
of this Isle being in full the Goods Chattles and 
Effects remaining clear of goods & effects of own
father Thomas Corlet/Corris/ of the sd parish Deceased
the intre & full sum own to us as well as to are
brothers Thomas & Robert Corlett now of this Island. This
receipt of wtc sd sum we do hereby acknowledge
& do thereforeacquit exonerate & discharge from
the sd John Corlet as also our Uncle, Robert
Corlet and David Corlet and also our Aunt
Esther Craine otherwise Corlet our Guardians
of the Ballance due due to us & to our brothers
Thomas & Robert Corlett after the Debts were discharged in full
& will desire that the sd Decree of Admin-
istration respecting what belonged to us and to
our sd brother by the decree of our sd father be
forthwith cancelled on the Episcopal Registry
of this Isle where the Decree of Administra-
tion & Inventory remains as witness our own
