Alfred Henry Radcliffe formerly of number 56 Shiel
[but now of 306 Cambridge Road Crosby(?)_____ the said City]
Road Fairfield in the City of Liverpool ^ Draper
being sworn on the Holy Evangelists makes
oath and says as follows:-
1. I am the son of the late William Thomas Radcliffe
   who died on or about the 20th day of March 1897.
2. The said late William Thomas Radcliffe left him
   surviving a widow namely Jane Radcliffe
   and eight children – 3 sons and 5 daughters
   in the order following
 (1) Jane Catherine now the wife of the Reverend
     James Jackson of the American Church
     Mission Wuchong in Haukow China
     Missionary Minister
 (2) Eleanor the widow of Dr. Thomas Rayner

     formery residing at number 56 Shiel Road
      Fairfield Liverpool aforesaid
      [but now of 30 Cambridge Road aforesaid]
  (3) Emily ^ formerly residing at number 56 Sheil Road
      aforesaid Spinster
  (4) Henrietta Allison the Widow of Revd.
      Frederick Parker Napier residing at
      Albury Suffolk Road in the town of
      Bornemouth
  (5) William Thomas Radcliffe residing
      at Johannesburg South Africa
  (6) Frederick Allison Radcliffe also
      resinding at Johannesburg aforesaid
  (7) Caroline Frances the widow of
      Revd. John Smith Fordham residing
      at No 42 Lismore Road Healey Sheffield
  (8) Deponant
The only deceased child of the said William
Thomas Radcliffe deceased was named Arthur
and he died at the age of nine years.
Probate of the will of the said William Thomas
Radcliffe deceased was granted at Douglas on
the 17th day of May 1897 to Jane Radcliffe relict
of the said William Thomas Radcliffe the executrix
in the will named.
The said Jane Radcliffe – deponents mother
died on or about the 5th day of January
1904 intestate.

6. The Value of the unadministered estate of 
the said late William Thomas Radcliffe is
about fifty pounds.

Know all me by these presents that we John Edward Coupe
of 30 Victoria Street in the borough of Douglas
Accountant Robert Henry Cubbin of
Athol Street in the said town Secretary to
the Highway Board and Thomas Henry 
Cowley of 10 North Quay in the said
town Corn Merchant
are jointly and severally and any twoof us jointly bound unto
Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of Sixty
pounds in payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said Lord
the king, his heirs and sucessors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and
severally, and any two of us jointly, our Executors and Administrators
firmly by these presents.
  As witness our subscription the 19th day of
October in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and seven (1907).
  THE CONDITION of our obligation is such, that if the 
above named John Edward Coupe

who seeks to obtain Letters of Administration CUM TESTEMENTO ANNEXO, of
all and singular the personal estate and effects left unadministered
by Deceased administrator

but now deceased, who died on or about the 5th day of January
1904 at Sunny Bank aforesaid
